ISIS is political, not religious. It infuses its extreme messaging with romanticized religious edicts and nostalgia to cover it’s brutality. But why does ISIS exist? Is it because a group of young men decided to open the Quran and they discovered it’s true meaning? Was it born in a healthy socio-political climate?
