Good news from our friend Dr Zakir Naik

Truth can never be falsified. Today Interpol did it, Tomorrow whole world will. Insha Allah.

We got this little victory, may we get a bigger one soon.
Alhumdulilah.
Make it as much viral as you can. Let it reach everyone and let truth and justice prevail.
JazakAllah Khair.

إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين

Every day, as we pray to Allah: “You alone do we worship,” we remind ourselves to be sincere, and to avoid any type of showing off of our good deeds.

And as we pray: “…and You alone are the One we ask for help,” we remind ourselves to be humble, and never feel any arrogance.

Sincerity and humility are essential ingredients of success.
And their opposites, showing off and arrogance, are a sure recipe for failure.

“A man’s house is destroyed by our air raid in 2008. He loses both his legs. He is wheelchair-bound. But he has to live, not just for himself; for his family. He goes car-washing. At traffic lights and junctions. He swings himself out of his wheelchair and hops onto hoods with a polishing rag, legless. Walks himself on his hands to the windshield. Polishes that, too. Every day. For nine years. He survives two more wars and countless more airstrikes. Hunger and blockade. And washing cars – legless, relentless, as athletic and determined as a Paralympian – he ends up supporting 11 souls.
On weekends, he goes out to the dirty sand dunes betwen him and us, the people who bombed, maimed and imprisoned him. He sticks a flag we dislike into the sand. He props his legless torso onto the top of a dune. And he shouts. Sometimes his words are amplified by cameras, sometimes just a bullhorn. Sometimes not even that. He sits there, legless, and shouts things we don’t want to hear. Defiant things. Unpleasant things. Impertinent things. So today, our sniper shot him in the head.

#FreePalestine

Dear social justice activists who are “woke” and will protest every perceived injustice under the sun but completely neglect or distort the cause of the Palestinians. For how long will you pretend this isn’t happening? This is occupation. This is apartheid. #FreePalestine #HandsOffJerusalem #StayWoke

Singapore-based scientist Jackie Ying clinches highest accolade for academic inventors

Instead of wasting time arguing with each other on Facebook; instead of drowning in mega conspiracy theories; instead of wasting our time (life) being idle, let us work as hard as we can to improve our individual and consequently collective standing. Then, if we had the right niyyah (intention), we may be able to say to Allah, we tried.

Zayd Ibn Haritha was a Sahaba that was adopted by Prophet Muhammad(S). Some of the younger Sahabas such as Abdullah Ibn Umar famously said: “I never knew Zaid except as Zayd Ibn Muhammad”. He was not aware until Allah revealed Surah Al-Ahzab, then he figured that it was indeed Zayd Ibn Haritha.

Zayd(R) was married to at least three, if not fives wives throughout the course of his life. His first wife, the most prominent in the Seerah is none other than Umm Ayman. She was a slave who belonged to Abdallah, the father of the Prophet(S). It is not specified but we do know that she is from somewhere in Africa. However most of the slaves during that time were from what we know Abyssinia(Habasha), therefore it is most likely she is also from the same region.

When the mother of the Prophet(S) passed away, Umm Ayman brought the Prophet(S) back to Makkah and took care of him. Eventually, she was freed by the Prophet(S) as a slave, but we do know how he treated everyone around him. Therefore even though he freed her, she decided to voluntarily stay back as a servant in his household.

The tide is turning. The oppressor is now an open enemy of all God fearing righteous people. Jews, Christians and Muslims unite to stop them! May Allah give the meek victory. Ameen.

Remember this: Never, ever disobey the Creator out of fear of the creation. In His hand is the dominion of the heavens and earth. *He* is in charge…not them. They are powerless to help or hurt you. If you turn your *entire* self towards Him and seek His refuge, He will carry you through this.
Just don’t turn away.

Live Khutbah with Nouman Ali Khan

He escaped from his bed to invoke His Lord with these beautiful words:

Ayesha (ra) said: “I was sleeping next the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him, then I lost him during the night. So I felt around for him, and my hand fell upon his feet while he was prostrating, and he was saying: “I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and in You from You. I am incapable of fully counting Your praises. You are as You have praised Yourself.” (Tirmidhi)
