“Allah expresses His pride to His angels at the time of ‘Ishaa’ on the Day of ‘Arafaah, about the people of ‘Arafaah. He says, ‘Look at My slaves who have come unkempt and dusty. They have hope in my mercy and fear my punishment, whilst they have not seen me – how will it be if they see me?” “Witness oh angels, that i have forgiven them”

Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is a journey that connects its rituals with profound meanings and gives them significance.

The tawaf is the circumambulation of a House built by Ibrahim and his son Ismail; the walking between Safa and Marwa replicates Hajar’s search for water for her infant child; the throwing of stones at the jamarat in Mina signifies the devil’s attempts to tempt Ibrahim away from sacrificing his son; and the ritual slaughter marks the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son for God.

Join us as we will take you on a step by step insight into the inner spiritual dimensions that make up the largest pilgrimage on Earth. This journey began several millennia ago with a single man, the Prophet Abraham – The Friend of God.

Fast forward to today – #Hajj – the 5th Pillar of Islam is attended by millions of people from every corner of the world and it all began from that single call by the Prophet Abraham, a call that unites the whole of humanity as one single family.

This is Day 8 of our 10-day #DhulHijjah Prophetic Legacy Series focusing on the life of Abraham – The Friend of God.
