#JordanEdwards would’ve been 16 today if he wasn’t murdered in cold blood in front of his brothers by Officer Roy Oliver. I know that many have forgotten about this young man, but here in Dallas he is on our minds everyday. I have his name on google alerts. I check every single day to see if there is an update on his case. His father is one of the most humble and loving fathers I have ever met. At this point, I feel like I knew Jordan. #BlackLivesMatter #JusticeforJordan

#JordanEdwards father didn’t smile one time today. He stood dignified, cried several times, and didn’t say a word. We need to fight for this family and for the others that have suffered in the past, or will suffer in the future if we don’t reform this system. The injustice of this case is so blatant that it needs to be the moment that we say that we’re sick of the hashtags. Jordan wasn’t a hashtag to his parents, he was their child. #BlackLivesMatter
